What's New on SanrioTown

SanrioTown.com has a lot of surprises for its members this November! Cute wallpapers and calendars featuring your favorite Sanrio characters have already uploaded for your downloading enjoyment.

A new game has also been brought in the line-up! Called "SanrioTown Kart Madness", this will certainly be well-loved by people who love action.

A player can choose to play as Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, Bad Badtz Maru, or KeroKeroKeroppi (with their own specialized, custom-made vehicles!) Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, so a person has to choose very carefully which one he wants to play as. S/he can unlock the second and third courses for each character by finishing the heat.

S/he can win by finishing all three tracks for each character. Losing in just one race for one character would end the game, so better do it fast and well to earn a good score and possibly a place in the Top Five ranking.

Focus on: Pochacco Crazy Marbles

Help! Marbles are closing in on Pochacco from all sides, and he needs you to get him out of there!

What you need to do is to get at least three consecutive marbles of the same color together. You can grab the top one (or ones, if they're of the same color) and then throw it to whichever vent you want it to go to. Select which side you're going to take a marble from using the arrow keys. You can release it by again pressing which directional button you want it to go to. The marbles won't wait for you, though, because these will continue to keep coming at Pochacco until they reach him; at which point, the game ends.

There are special marbles that will aid you and Pochacco, and these can be easily seen, as they look slightly different from the normal ones. Activate these by again placing them with at least two other marbles of the same color. Depending on the marble that you get, any one of these might happen: all marbles will be cleared, marbles from that row will automatically disappear, or the marbles will stop moving for a few moments.

Coro Coro Volleyball: A New Game on SanrioTown!

Get set, SanrioTown gaming fans! There's a new flash game you can play with, and it features none other than your favorite flower hat-wearing squirrel, and his mate! That's right, this latest addition to the roster features Coro Coro Kuririn and Sakura playing their own version of volleyball!

SanrioTown members can choose either the one player- or two player-mode. In the former, they get to be Kuririn playing against the computer-controlled Sakura. For the latter, a couple of friends can play as the two hamsters.

In either case, the player must keep the pineapple from falling by tossing it over to the other side of the net, er, stick. S/he can move left or right, or even jump by pressing the corresponding button. If the pineapple falls on the ground while it's on your side, a point will automatically be given to your opponent.

Save the pineapple, win the game. Most of all, have fun playing!

Focus on: Badtz Maru Runner

Looks like Badtz-Maru is in trouble again, and this time with his pet crocodile, Pochi!

Keep the little guy from taking a bite out of our mischievous penguin by giving the exact same number that floating above him. Use the left or right arrow keys to find the right digit and then the down button to knock out Pochi.

Be careful, though, because the little crocodile brought a lot of reinforcements: a whole army of Pochis! Hana Maru also appears from time to time (everytime the eliminated numbers come up with a sum that's divisible by 10, to be exact). His appearance would be helping XO, though: if the number he's holding is matched, all the other Pochis on the screen will also be knocked off too.

There are 16 Pochis per level, the succession of appearances becoming increasingly faster as the game progresses. Getting Pochi will give you 10 marks, while Hana Maru makes you gain the same, plus 50 bonus points.

Focus on: Lucky Purin Game

Our favorite golden retriever Pom Pom Purin loves fruits! Help him get his daily food by helping him walk across and catching the falling strawberries, cherries, and bananas to munch on.

However, he's not much of a nuts person (even if his beret looks like one), so make sure you guide him away from these or else he'll get a nasty bump on the head!

Focus on: Pochacco's Bank Game

Pochacco is now a big-time banker, and you are his valuable assistant!

The game is easy. All you have to do is to press the corresponding directional button for the kind of money your current customer is asking. The left, down, and right keys stand for the three kinds of money that you can give to your clients: gold coins and green and red bills.

The time remaining for you to distribute the money appears on the top portion of the game, as well as the number of customers you have to serve before your level goes up. Going up a level occurs automatically so you won't have to worry about a pop-up that will suddenly appear and make you lose your concentration.:D

Paying attention to what your customer is saying is the key of the game. Make sure that you've counted the right amount of money before you hand it to your customer, otherwise, you'll end up losing the game and make Pochacco one sad dog.

Focus on: XO Cave Adventure

XO Cave Adventure is the latest in the arsenal of games that can be played in SanrioTown.

Being the adventurous little penguin that Badtz Maru is, he goes on an Antarctic cave exploration trip, and it's up to you to guide him through it!

Aside from the cave's stalactites and stalagmites, some creepy-crawly creatures are also in the way to keep XO from having a smooth flight. Not to worry though, XO has his weapon of choice: his handy flashlight! Left-click to turn it on and make the cave dwellers disappear.

Badtz Maru can have a maximum of three flashlights, and can replenish his supply by collecting the ones on his way. Aside from these, he can also collect hearts (a maximum of five), which indicates the number of times he can be hit. There are also stars that boost a player's score by 100 points for each one collected.

The game is action/adventure, something that people of all ages would just love to play. Guiding a flying Badtz Maru who wears a red cape is a special bonus as well.:D

Focus on: Keroppi's Adventure

Why did the frog cross the field and the pond? To get to the other side, of course!

Help KeroKeroKeroppi reach the other side of the pond by guiding him across obstacles, including Den Den and making him jump across lily pads. Reach the five red flowers at the end and move up to a new level each time you complete it.

Focus on: Pochacco's Balloon Game

Spend a fun day at the festival by helping our favorite white dog hand out balloons to his many friends in Pochacco's Balloon. Sounds easy? Not by a long shot, as each animal has differing speeds and directions, and have awful tempers to boot! Better have their balloons ready for them, or they'll walk out on you!
