Gone are the days where fathers are distant to their kids, spending more time outside the house than with the children. Now, they are more pro-active in their role in the family in every sense, from having fun with them to helping them in school stuff. Such is the case of this blogger.
"All About Kyle" is made by a father and a husband (another male blogger here on SanrioTown!) Most of his entries are centered on his son, Jared Kyle, and the rest of his family, whom he is very close to. His entries are about being a father, a husband, and even as a son. His stories follow that theme, and his tone ranges from the humorous (such as the adventures he, his wife, and his son have) to the serious (what it's like to be a family man).
Read up on his stories by going to http://blog.sanriotown.com/jaredkyle:hellokitty.com.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. What better way to celebrate that day of sweetness by having sweet Hello Kitty with you?
Sanrio has released two heart-shaped pillows with Hello Kitty's face as its design, just in time for Valentine's Day. These are made of polyester, and are big enough to be huggable - you can even pour your heart out to her as you squeeze the pillow tight!

Get to do a little bit of sight-seeing with this week's featured Dream Studio creation.
This week is going to be a little different, because we'll be featuring two videos instead of one. Why, you ask? Because komakatze, the creator of these, actually made it into two parts, so we'll be featuring both to give you a maximum virtual tour.
Impressions Gran Canaria and Impressions Gran Canaria, 2 feature the landscape, structures, and the way of life of the people of Gran Canaria, a Spanish island near Africa.
The pictures are rustic and go far beyond what you see on typical postcards, showing how the people of Gran Canaria actually see the island. The rawness of the shots are actually what makes the place quite enticing to visit, because there is something in the rugged beauty of the place that makes them appealing. It's really a very interesting and gorgeous place, and the pictures and the videos capture these perfectly.

Strange news to Hello Kitty fans: Sanrio Japan recently released a toy collection featuring their key icon not only with a mouth, but without a nose as well.
There are three "mouthed" Hello Kitty designs you can choose from, each of which has three items following that: a hair tie, a mini-towel, and a wire mascot. You can twist and turn the toy in whatever position you want her to be, because the limbs are pretty flexible. You can even make her balance on one foot, because its hands and feet have magnets that you can attach to a metallic surface to keep her on her toes.
Click on the photos to view the toys from the Sanrio Japan site. Thanks to kt_sanctuary for featuring this!

What's the story behind the Little Wonder Story? Find out this Friday!
Happy birthday, My Melody!
My Melody has been part of the Sanrio line since 1975. She was originally designed to be their version of Little Red Riding Hood, but they eventually dropped this in her story and instead came up with a completely different one, which includes her family and friends.
Year Created: 1974
Real Names: Kiki (the younger brother) and Lala (the older sister)
Birthday: 1974
The twins were born on Compassion Planet, in Dream Galaxy. They were really curious about life on Earth and spent time wondering about it, and so they asked their father, an inventor, and their mother, a poetess, if they could visit it, and they agreed. Saying goodbye to their friends the sun, moon, stars, and clouds, and with Lala's star wand guiding them, they reached Earth safely and have since spread happiness to everyone they meet.
Kiki loves to fish for stars, explore new planets, and invent new things (he takes after his father!) He loves spring and summer the best, because he likes to look at fields of dandelions from his cloud-top perch.
Lala likes to cook, draw pictures, and compose poetry (she takes after her mother!) She loves autumn and winter the best (she writes to her father and mother while floating inthe clear winter sky).
Today's featured video is obviously made by a Hello Kitty lover!
"Everything Hello Kitty" not only has pictures of stuff with Hello Kitty's cute face on these, but viewers can actually see how much effort has been put into making this video. From the images to the descriptions of the items, you can see a load of effects used to form slides that are very interesting to watch - cohesion is the key here, because these don't end up distracting people from checking out what the things are, but actually highlights the cool factor of these.

Raccoons are known for always washing their food before eating, but Landry takes this to a whole new different level! Not only does he wash what he eats, he actually washes everything he touches, and his specialty is actually washtub acrobatics! Another hobby he has is listening to music - he is a great fan of Mozart. A special feature of his is his 30-centimeter tail, with the three stripes, because it is as soft as a mink's. He has a rubber ducky friend called Pea, who squeaks whenever his beak is squeezed.
Warning: Those who are trying to lose a few pounds from the weight they gained during the holidays should not watch this week's video, because they will surely mess up their diet.:P For those who have self-confessed sweet tooths however, this video will be quite a treat!
"pinkchocolatelovers!!!", made by pinkkitt7, is filled with sweet treats: feast your eyes on chocolates, muffins, cakes, and strawberries galore! Each picture seems to be more tempting than the last, and it will surely make your mouth water while watching the video - and maybe even make you rush to the closest bakeshop to get a slice of chocolate cake.

This week's featured blogger really bring her love for Sanrio in a creative level! lilah, author of "hello earth" shows that she can be productive while retaining her love for Hello Kitty - and she's got the pictures to prove this.
What gives the blog that special quality would be the pictures she includes in her entries. All of these are really cute images that showcase her interests, including items from her Sanrio collection to cookies she's baked that were shaped like Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. One can't help but smile at the cuteness in the blog.

William Shakespeare once said, "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." The Bard certainly had the right idea when it came to the scent of flowers, not to mention that blooms are some of the prettiest things in the world. Mickey1928 certainly thought so too, and that is why she made a video featuring images of really beautiful ones of different kinds and colors.
"Flower pics" showcase some of the prettiest pictures of flowers that one can see. The effects serve to highlight their beauty, instead of distracting the viewer from the pictures to be seen. To cap it off, the beat of the music adds to the appeal of the video, because it's fun but at the same time, descriptive of the images.
